This modern house situated in a former industrial area in the center of Leiden, the Netherlands, designed by Pasel.Kuenzel. Design house is solving two of the most important needs of the urban housing: light and space. The house is divided into two parts, easily identified by differences in the materials used in the facade. The first, larger, part has a bedroom and living room has high windows and the interior with natural light to fill. The second part is long and narrow and contains service areas: bathroom, kitchen, utility room and stairs. The roof is not flat but slightly inclined to let more light in the bedroom and you could see the stars while sheltering roof garden view of neighbors and people on the street.
